My first encounter with APS was with Ben, their scheduler. He takes down your information, what your plumbing needs are, and schedules an appointment to send out a technician. On the day of the appointment, sometimes within the hour of appointment time, Ben or someone else from the office staff will call to confirm the appointment to ensure someone is home to meet the technician. If for some reason another customer has an emergency, Ben will call to see if he can reschedule your appointment to accommodate the emergency. Hey, if you had a plumbing emergency, wouldn’t you be grateful if someone gave up their appointment? Rich was the assigned technician. He arrived on time and assessed my need to replace two outside faucet bibs which were 38 years old which were installed to copper pipe in the outside walls of the house. We discussed options, especially accessing one bib on the outside wall with kitchen cabinets on the other side. Rich worked up and provided me a quote. Over a two-month period Rich and APS replaced the faucet bibs, replaced a hot water heater in the attic at our church, installed a sewage clean out, and installed a water shutoff valve near the house. The later two installations were for convenience and easy access in the event we encounter a clogged sewer or need to shut water off quickly. BTW the city also replaced my water meter and installed a locking cover which prevents me from shutting water off at the meter. Based on your plumbing needs, APS ensures the technician is fully equipped with the parts and supplies needed to accomplish the job. I want to thank APS, especially Ben and Rich, for staying on top of our projects and completing them in a timely and professional manner. If I have any future plumbing needs, APS will be my first and only call. Mucho gracias!

My experience started on a Friday with a broken kitchen faucet. I Called Anderson Plumbing and spoke with Ben who told me someone would come out the next morning, which they did. A faucet had to be ordered and Ben kept me in the loop during the shipping process. Ben was very empathetic and helpful through the entire process. He was a great point of contact. A very professional young man, Wayne, came to the house and realized we’d have to have the holes in our countertop enlarged to allow for the new faucet. Ben contacted a local company to do this and called me several times to keep me updated. Wayne came back and did a great job on the installation and was very neat and orderly. I am so happy with the professionalism that both these men exhibited and for that reason, highly recommend Anderson Plumbing!

We had an emergency issue with our water heaters. My wife has some health issues and with 2 small children, we needed hot water. I called about 10 different places and no one would or could help. Anderson was the only company that would help us. Our tech, Beau, was very courteous, polite and very knowledgeable! Anderson hired a great person! They will be our go to company for any plumbing issues we may have! GREAT JOB!!!!

Best plumber in Carteret County! Rusty (the owner) is absolutely superb…he’s done a lot of work for me over the years, and I’ve grown to trust him greatly. He is honest and conscientious, and always works on my house like it is his own. He is one of those exceptional contractors that I can count on to do the work correctly every time….we seem to be on the same page about everything! His assistant Ben is terrific too…one of the most cheerful folks I’ve ever talked to in the plumbing business. Anyhow, thanks for all the great help Rusty!

Called Anderson for a pipe leaking in the craw space, Beau provided excellent service in locating and repairing (the craw space is no easy task in itself) very professional, knowledgeable and explained all in detail before repairing and after another trek in the craw space all is repaired. Great service from Beau, and Anderson will get all my future business.

We have a sump pump, and it needed to be replaced. Not only did Anderson come right out on a weekend, but Richard was very professional. He explained what happened and gave us options. When he arrived later with the new pump he was right on time! Richard is very intelligent, makes great eye contact, listens well and is such nice person! While I was writing a check he offered to use his WD-40 on a part of my front door that was sticking! Interacting with the staff at Anderson has been equally as great an experience. We definitely recommend Anderson and will continue to use them!

I had asked Anderson Plumbing to come out and look at our home. Ben called to set up the appointment,he made sure the technician knew all that was required. Eric showed up right on time, was professional, worked in a timely fashion, was very knowledgeable , and cleaned up after himself. He did however have to return with a part that had to be special ordered, only because we added a job. Ben, kept me updated with the parts arrival, making sure we knew when Eric would be returning so we did not have to worry or guess. This company does an excellent job of communication, showing up on time ,and preforming the work in a clean, professional manner. I will be more than happy to refer them and to use the,again.
